At Shack's, we have served our St. Louis clients for over 70 years. Founded by James Shackleford, we've become a community partner, providing professional styling services for the entire family.

For seventy years Shack's has been a front porch for the neighborhood — somewhere to sit, talk, and feel at home. The open door is a big part of that: no appointment needed, ever. Here's how the day works.
7–9 AMSaturdays · walk-in onlyWe open early. First come, first served — no appointments taken.
9–10 AMWeekdays · walk-in onlyThe first hour of every weekday is held for walk-ins.
Until 5 PMWalk-ins all dayWalk-ins are welcome alongside appointments all day, up to 5 PM.
Thinking about coming by? Give us a ring first and we'll let you know how the chairs are looking. And if it's getting past 5, don't write the day off — call the shop, and if a chair is open we'll do our best to squeeze you in before close.
